This large and beautiful, antique, 18th century, Anglo Indian bench was thoughtfully designed in a style of English Chippendale. It features floral carving on the top rail and pierced ribbon splats on the four seat backs. With scrolled arms and a nicely scalloped apron, the piece terminates on cabriole legs with nicely defined lion paw feet. Notice, also, the turned, repeated Height and raised back stretchers. It is an imposing and commodious settee.
