This old box displays wear from generations of use. It was hand crafted, with a lift top, and hand painted. It displays a design on the front depicting Buddhist symbols of writing instruments. It is surrounded by a painted fretwork pattern. Note, also, the hand wrought iron hasp on the lid and hand made nails. It is a nice, useful size.
