This dramatic table was robustly hand carved with fanciful, scroll, foliate and shell details throughout, including on the straight rear supports. The apron displays floral and shell designs and the stout, somewhat cabriole legs, heavy scrolling, terminating on scrolled, almost paw-form feet It rests atop a scalloped, moulded base. The marble top is a nice contrast to the very dark wood. It is a very decorative piece.
