(Item: AR3776)
Found in India, this gate typifies a form popular there for hundreds of years. This one features a stylized, ogee shaped top with folk figures of elephants and peacocks hand carved into the form. The teak frame houses an open body of iron rods, allowing the free flow of air. Notice the unusual detail of applied, brass rosettes along the center upright.
