Portuguese Colonial Rosewood Shrine
(Item: C1935)
This small shrine was imaginatively hand carved in the typical miniature "house" style. It features a tiered, peaked roof with beaded details around the base, and turned finials on the corners. It is supported by spool-turned columns that flank the open surface. Notice the tiny drawer on the base. Of rare rosewood, it is rich looking niche.
