(Item: C1917)
This beautifully constructed, early cabinet displays the austere elegance of the Ming period. It was hand fashioned with a rounded overhang at the top, above double doors that are made with hinges that are extensions of the door body. The interior is nicely finished with two shelves and two, small drawers near the bottom. All the members are softly rounded and pieces like this are sometimes referred to as "round corner" pieces.
