This tall and narrow, Danish mirror was hand fashioned with a delicate hand. It features a Copenhagen top with center fan patera over a hand painted mirrored panel depicting two mourning women with a funerial urn,, beneath a floral arch. The mirror is flanked by inlaid "flutes", a motif repeated along the base, and holds two, brass candle sconces on swing hinges. It is a very dressy and graceful piece and a lovely addition over a console.
