Possibly from Baltimore, MD, this lovely, small, Hepplewhite, dropleaf table was hand fashioned with dramatic, butterfly-shaped leaves, a single drawer, with a small, brass knob, in one end and slender, square, tapered legs of the style. It features the unusual addition of maple-banded cross-grain inserts on the lower legs. Of a nice, mellow brown color, it will blend well with many other woods and certainly enhance a traditional room.
