This unmarked figure is possibly an English setter or Welsh springer spaniel, an unusual depiction. He features plum-colored, mottled coat, and wagging tongue. He sports a gilt collar and tag, and stands atop a rocky plinth with gilt accents. Note: mend to tail. It is a rare and charming cabinet piece.
