Comprised of four panels, this room screen was hand carved. Each panel has a fretwork upper portion with a central, round medallion; each different, depicting a pig, monkey, rooster and maiden with a parasol. At the centers are panels with scholar's symbols, with larger panels on the bottoms depicting vases of flowers. This set will find many creative uses, both practical and decorative.
