This single foo dog (or lion) was hand carved of stone, in traditional fashion. This creature exhibits an unusually fierce, somewhat crooked expression on his face and sits with both front paws resting atop small balls. Although an early piece, it does retain most of the carved details, including a foo head in a medallion, on the front of the tall plinth. It makes a great garden accessory, or accent within the home.
