Hand carved, this pair of foo dogs, or lions, was originally architectural building brackets. It is unusual to find so small a pair and these depict especially fierce creatures, sitting atop drums; sure to ward off evil spirits. In the modern home, they would be very effective used as garden or patio ornaments, but might also be nice flanking a hearth.
