This extraordinary pair of Queen Anne period chairs were hand fashioned in Goa, India. Each features extensive hand carved bellflower and shell carving on the raised crest rail, raised front stretcher and knees on the cabriole legs. Notice the intricate treatment of the fiddle back splat, the beautifully pierced heart motif at the center, the turned H stretcher and carved, paw feet. This is a rare and special find.
