This very unusual, small table was hand fashioned with an octagonal top, with a conventionalized egg-and-dart edge, that exhibits inlaid, wedge-shaped, calamander sections emanating from a circular, ebony center. The top is supported by three, urn and trumpet carved legs that rest atop a triform base, terminating on three, short, cabriole legs with scrolled feet and acanthus leaf knees. It makes a very decorative center or occasional table.
