Beautifully hand carved in Goa, India, this rare frame is architectural in form with a Moorish arch at the top of the opening. It is surmounted by a tall, pierced crest of foliate design; a motif echoed in the cascading and scrolling foliage along the sides. It would make a stunning frame for a mirror, but also would make a strong decorating statement set into a wall or framing a niche.
