Intricately hand carved with a tiny, paisley-style floral design in borders along the edges of the lid and box, this beautiful container was fashioned of ebony; one of the world's rarest woods. The lid opens to reveal triple mirrors on a swing-out frame, and small compartments over a larger one, for easy storage and access to various makeup accoutrements. It is adorned with delicate, inlaid ivory designs. This is a very special piece.
