Teak Architectural Fragment, as a Mirror
(Item: A1215)

The frame of this beautiful mirror began life in Portuguese Colonial Goa, as decoration on a building. Completely hand carved, it features an imposing, but graceful, shell pediment on the crest, with slightly scrolled uprights flanking the oval opening. Exhibiting an appealing, worn, white-painted patina, it will lend provincial charm to any room.c. 1700
