This extremely decorative seat was hand carved of white marble. The ornate back features an arabesque, scalloped crest with a stylized, pierced pattern at the center. Numerous pierced, fretwork panels flank the crest and carry around to the sides; the tops of which display elaborate scrolled details. The plain seat rests atop acanthus carved, columnar legs. This is an exquisite example of the finest craftsmanship.
