(Item: TP0129)
Beautifully hand fashioned, this clock presents an unusual form. The case was made with an arched, bonnet top, reflecting the raised portion of the dial, pierced panels on the sides, and an inverted pediment base. The lovely, brass dial features the maker's signature, Fn Drury, London, on a pewter medallion at the top; with a pewter dial and applied, cast floral designs at the corners. It is at once a dressy, but simple piece.
Mark on the back of the works reads: "Medailles d' Argent, Le Japy Fils, 1844-1849."
