This handsome altar stick was hand carved and painted. It retains the original candle cup surmounting a portion of the original drip pan. Double knops top a slender, tall, tapering column displaying carved acanthus detail over the baluster bottom; ending on a triform, footed base. Most of the original painted finish is intact with a faux marble background and gilt accents.
