This low, barrel-shaped arm chair features a caned seat, and scalloped apron. The front legs were carved in a spiral fashion and terminate on block feet. The back legs are plain and splayed. Each is priced individually.
Provenance: University of Mumbai (formerly Bombay). Established in 1857 as one of the first educational institutions by the English in India. It was built in the Neo-Gothic style and modelled after English universities.
