(Item: CH1774)
This somewhat whimsical armchair was fashioned with a carved crest flanked by wingback head rests; an unusual feature. The ends of the upholstered arms display scrolled details, typical of the restraint of the Directoire period. With its brown and white cowhide upholstery, it makes an interesting and amusing statement. The seat of this piece does exhibit wear. With CH1775, it makes a great pair.
