Early English Half Gill Copper Measure
(Item: M2135)
This wee measure was hand fashioned in footed, baluster form, with a rounded handle. This is one of the smallest sizes used, and whereas most measures were intended for ale, it is likely this was used for whiskey measurement. It is in wonderful shape and displays the stamped mark of Queen Victoria over the stamp: 1/2 GILL. It is a great addition to a copper collection.
