Fashioned in Adam style of the late 18th century, this unusual desk features a stepback apron with a fluted arcade flanked by moulded panels and patera. The pattern repeats on the opposite side. It sits atop tapered legs with block feet which display nicely hand carved bellflower (or husk) drops. This piece is without drawers and has a newly replaced green felt writing surface of generous size.
