This very large and bold lamp was hand fashioned in and decorated in a Satsuma style we rarely see. It features a bright, turquoise background executed in raised, enamel lozenges. The shoulder features floral enameling on a black ground and brilliant cranes and swallows on the turquoise. The lamp rests atop a hand craved and pierced, wooden stand. It makes a great decorating statement.
