Designed in the robust, Portuguese Baroque style of the 18th century, this piece features remarkable, single-plank top over a dramatic, serpentine front that displays cartouche panels on the nine, curved drawers. The chest sits atop the original stand, with a simple, bellflower design at the center and bold, cabriole legs with acanthus knees and ball and claw feet. A great storage piece, it is also very decorative.
