Charles Samuel (Belgian, 1862-1939). With cast signature: "Samuel. C". The Norwegian Girl", sculpted by Charles Samuel, a student of the Royal Belgian Academy, who won Silver and Gold Medals in Universal Expositions, and whose works are shown in several European museums. He also sculpted the "Monument of Coster".
