This beautiful, small piece was hand fashioned with two shelves set into a bookcase type cabinet with a hand carved and pierced border on the facade; depicting a central calligraphy medallion and scrolling foliage. The piece retains much of the original, red lacquer finish and rests atop a rectangular, block base. It is perfect foil for display of small treasures, or as a little bookcase.
