Hand crafted, with an overhanging top over double doors, this piece displays the traditional mortised construction of Chinese period furniture. It features hand painted figures, scattered all over the front, depicting many precious symbols; all finely executed in black and gilt tracery on the red ground. The sides of the piece are painted black. The interior has a single shelf with two drawers below, and a deep bottom with sliding cover.
