Hand crafted of poplar, this lovely wardrobe was constructed with mortised construction. The double doors open to reveal a single, deep shelf and wonderful, open, storage space. The black, lacquered finish displays a border of calligraphy symbols, with delicate gold and polychrome tracery on the doors, and panels with peaches and persimmons beneath. The doors bear brass, moon escutcheons with raindrop pulls.
