This pair of small, lacquered cabinets was hand fashioned with two pair of double doors each. The upper doors feature applied grids in the shape of open medallions; red upon a black ground. The lower doors have a small, foliate carved panel over a larger, red panel with incised calligraphy. The open interiors allow for creative storage; perhaps as entertainment centers.
