Each of these exquisitely conceived and hand crafted, low back chairs display a squared back with beautiful, carved and pierced panels on the back splat and rare spindled gallery around the seat. Unusual in walnut, the chairs feature floating panels seats over a waisted base with spindled, humpback apron with central, carved flower and tiny, cloud form spandrels. The legs and box stretcher are enhanced with beaded detail. A special pair, indeed.
