(Item: T2305)
Fashioned to be connected with mortises, a Chinese innovation, this pair of demilunes display floral carving on the waist, with a slightly flared apron that is separated from the humpback stretchers by floral carved blocks. The legs have carved details on the tops, a cabriole shape, and end on finely detailed, paw feet. Used together, as a center table, or separated as consoles, these are a very versatile form.
