Hand fashioned, like a very small sideboard, this black-lacquered piece was made with a floating panel top over double drawers that are flanked by smaller, cantilevered drawers; all with carved-back, red-lacquered, floral panels and sun-burst escutcheons with ring pulls. The unusual feature of the small drawers is accented by drop finials at the sides. It is a handy, little piece that affords serving and display space.
