Fashioned in the style of 200 years prior, this lovely chair features a high shell and acanthus leaf crest rail that continues down the sides and flanked by spindles topping the turned uprights of the upholstered back. The long arms are carved with acanthus leaf details front and back. The high front stretcher also displays carved designs and the legs and H stretcher are turned. It is an impressive chair, of fairly light proportion.
