Comprising twelve arms, in two tiers, this chandelier was beautifully fashioned, with design elements popular in the classic period of the 18th century. It features a flared top to the stem, over an urn form that terminates on a quiver of arrows with ribbon and bay laurel details, which is surrounded by eagle heads. The arms wear applied acanthus leaf decoration and hold candle cups with acanthus bobeches. This is an elegant and impressive piece. Ceiling cap is marked: Napoleon a Wagram referring to the Battle of Wagram.
