This handsome, later chair is a faithful reproduction of a style popular at the turn of the 18th century. It features a straight, tall back and swooping, long arms with hand carved acanthus leaf details. The arm supports, front stretcher and lower H stretcher all display trumpet and ring turnings. It makes an impressive statement as an occasional chair.
