This beautiful, hand carved altar niche sits atop a double door cabinet with a slant top that opens to an interior that is fitted much like a tiny desk. The niche features an arched top with lovely moulding and a dentil run, and surmounts fluted pilasters bordered by carved putti and acanthus leaf drops.
