In the style of Doulton Lambeth ware, this tobacco jar is fitted with a domed lid with a hunt scene encircling the knob handle with a striding, horse and rider and his dogs in relief. The cylindrical base is moulded with a tavern scene in relief. It is glazed in bands of brown and cream.
