Hand crafted in the age old tradition of the Scandinavian countries, this piece is comprised of an 18th century base with a later top. The hefty base was fashioned with hourglass ends on the trestle, retaining the original post and tenons. It sports a dark green, painted finish. The top remains unpainted, for an easily washed finish. It is a charming, provincial piece and will add great charm to a kitchen or family room.
