Elegantly conceived and fashioned, this piece displays the finest in craftsmanship. The upper, fitted cupboard retains the original diamond dust mirrors beneath a broken pediment top with a gilt, flower finial, acanthus finials and chutes. The top steps back to reveal a fabulous, inlaid surface highlighting the walnut, Brazilian rosewood, satinwood and kingswood arabesque design; echoed, also, on the four drawer fronts below. Beautiful, gilt rococo hardware and side pulls complete the piece. It is a decorative and special piece, indeed.
