This frame of this magnificent, bevelled mirror was creatively fashioned with an unusual and beautiful crest, composed of acrorn finials flanking two griffins that support a central shield; all elements in graceful, scrolling design. The architectural form of the top surmounts the basic frame that displays borders of shields with shell details and small, oval swirls. It is a special find befitting an important room.
