French Hand Forged Iron Element
(Item: D1491)
Found in an old, French armory, this unque item is somewhat of a puzzler. Perhaps is a livery rack, used to hold tack. It is composed of arms, ending in open horseshoes, radiating from two central cores, also with horseshoe motifs. The body is painted dark green with the shoes, red, and the centers painted ochre. This is a very decorative, curious item that will certainly be a conversation piece. It would be great in a stable, but offers many decorative possibilities for the creative mind.
