This lovely, little cabinet (a buffet quatre-portes) was hand crafted in the southwest of France. It features a small, moulded cornice over four doors; all with diamond point (pointes de diamante) fielded panels; repeated at the center and on the sides. The front also displays incised hex signs and sports wonderful, iron hinges, hasps and drop pulls. It is a charming piece, with a great, rich patina.
