American Folk Art Barber Pole Trade Sign
Item: W1678
H 98″
Retaining remnants of the original paint, this unusually large pole was found in the Arkansas Valley, Colorado. It was made for the barber shop on Main Street, Rocky Ford, Colorado and remained there until the 1980s when it was purchased by a private collector. With nicely turned baluster features, it also still displays a wonderful star pattern near the top. It is a great example of American folk art.
