Displaying a patinated, pale blue painted finish, this tiny desk was hand fashioned with a slope top that opens onto lopers, revealing the writing surface and a small shelf on the interior. The base houses a small cabinet, the single door of which displays an asymmetical, moulded panel, and decorative key escutcheon. A brass keyhole escutcheon and brass knobs on the lopers complete the piece. It would be a charming child's desk, but also great for use in a small space anywhere in the home. With later paint.
