This very early chest was hand crafted with a lift top. It features an all-over carved front and sides; with shallow pilasters flanking the front, deeply moulded panel. The panel displays an intricately carved inner panel and is surrounded by beaded and egg-and-dart borders; the details of which are repeated on the sides. This is a great antique, wonderful storage piece and handsome addition to a home.
