The uprights of this Baroque Revival fire surround were hand carved with fruit and flowers flowers, surmounted by a bracket-like element. The frieze is embellished with carved leaves and a central shield. It is a slightly rustic piece with a light wax finish; a nice provincial look that will fit into many decors.
