This lovely, country piece displays features of a more sophisticated artisan. Notice the finely moulded cornice, the crossbanding on the drawers and the lovely, original, stamped brass escutcheons. With two smaller drawers over three larger ones in the upper section, and three small drawers in the base, it affords excellent storage. The scrolled apron and cabriole legs with pad feet lend an elegant air.
