Displaying a natural, faded brown patina, this pair of armchairs was hand crafted with very simple, stright lines. Each features a floating panel seat, an open back with a spandrel surround giving the slighted impression of cloud forms; also echoed around the opening beneath the seat. A small, straight spindled gallery sits beneath the arms and across the lower back. The piece is finished with a staggered box stretcher and front foot rest.
